If you only looked at the outside of this BMW 2002 roundie, you’d probably pass on it like most people did. There was thru rust in almost every panel. The rockers are gone, the trunk, floors and everything in between. I’m pretty sure the drip rails were dripping. You would be upside down on new metal plus fabrication if you could even find a solid footing to weld to. But to the discerning eye there was more, an non-cracked dash. Of course all the other parts will make another car whole one day but a clean dash is the cornerstone for a full blown restoration. Well bought by my Southern Ohio friend.
