Not sure if you’ve had the pleasure, but a blaster reveal party is the jam. It typically starts with multi-color cars that have paint bulging from rust. Everyone gathers around as the theorize what’s underneath. Accident damage? Original paint? Bondo? Then onto some mechanical stripping because the government has taken all the fun, and useful chemicals, out of paint stripper. But Christmas comes early when you haul off the shell to a media blaster and get to pick it up a few days later. The Swiss cheese floors or the bottom fenders might seem like a disappointment to some. But to us, that’s the surprise, delight and driver for next steps. Now that we know, we get order metal and start planning the next step. One step closer to realizing a full blown Superfly restoration.
