It’s really eye-candy-shelving. One of the things I love about being in and around vintage cars are the parts. The parts that make up the whole are as appealing to me as the entire package. That’s probably why I’ve enjoyed the Porsche parts business so much. When you gaze at a restored classic, or any vehicle you appreciate, it is on its own, a piece of art. Yet an engine block, a crank, head, or wheel are equally appealing and wonderful to stare at when presented clean and proper, at least to me. The problem is that most people don’t often get the chance to see a car broken down to its core parts. That’s why I staged things the way I did. To allow us to inventory and appreciate all that goes into all these parts. Now I just need a drink and a chair… and some tunes.
